As befits the
title of the site, the pictures are mainly views of Stourbridge. The aim was
not to show picture postcards but to use the images to show a way of seeing.
Quotes have been lifted from Sound Affects.
The original
pictures were taken in March/April 2002 with a Nikon Cool Pix camera. The
pictures were manipulated with the camera software and in more detail with
Adobe Photoshop 6.0
Using Photoshop
was, as always, loadsa fun. The hard work was in organising the 100+ files
that make up the site and ensuring that everything was saved in the correct
folder. All files were saved in one of three folders: Indexpage; Duotones;
Webversions or in the folder that contained them. It worked for me is all
I can say. It meant that doing links in Dreamweaver was made more methodical
and saved a lot of time.
